Occupational Health and Safety Policy

Ankel, with the awareness that its most important value is its human resources, considers minimizing any losses that may occur by creating a safer and healthier working environment and continuous improvement while fulfilling its responsibilities towards society, the environment and employees as the primary goal of the organization.

  • In this context;

  • National and international legislation and regulations are complied with wherever and in all areas of activity, and all efforts made in this direction are accepted as an indicator of respect for society and employees beyond legal requirements.

  • Safe and healthy working conditions are provided to prevent work-related injuries and ill health.

  • In order to ensure the health, safety and social welfare of employees at all levels, subcontractors, suppliers and visitors, activities are carried out to eliminate and reduce hazards, unsafe situations and movements that may cause occupational accidents and occupational diseases, and potential accident risks by identifying them in advance through detailed risk assessments and root cause analyses and taking the necessary measures to ensure the health, safety and social welfare of employees, subcontractors, suppliers and visitors by adopting the goal of “zero occupational accidents” and “zero occupational diseases”.

  • While the awareness that activities related to occupational health and safety are the common responsibility of all employees is established and adopted, consultation and participation of all employees are also ensured.

  • Employees are trained in the field of occupational health and safety to ensure the creation and development of a good occupational health and safety awareness, while subcontractors, suppliers and visitors are also ensured to comply with the rules regarding occupational health and safety.

  • Employee quality and satisfaction are kept at the highest level by continuously investing in employees.

As an organization aware of its responsibility towards environmental values, Ankel believes in the need to leave a livable world to future generations. The Environmental Policy, which includes the objectives and commitments within this scope, is implemented in all of Ankel‘s international operations.
